Refund Policy
Digital software, clearly explained.
How refunds work for one-time purchases of Rocktier apps on rocktier.com.
Last updated: 18 October 2026.
1. What you buy
Every purchase on rocktier.com is a one-time license: you pay once and keep the app forever. Software is delivered digitally: immediately after payment, a license key is generated and shown to you on the order page, ready to activate in the app. Because delivery starts right away, there is no shipping, no stock, and no physical product.
2. 7-day money-back window
Every purchase includes a 7-day money-back window. If an app is not for you, write to us within 7 days of the purchase date and we will refund it in full. No forms, no hoops, no questions asked.
This works because everything is digital and one-time: there is no stock, no shipping, and nothing to send back. The window is meant for genuine change of mind; refunds that are clearly abusive, such as repeated buy-and-refund loops, may be declined.
To start a refund, email us with your order reference and we will take it from there. Section 6 explains what happens to your activation code.
3. EU and UK consumers: 14-day withdrawal right
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Under EU and UK consumer law, this right ends as soon as the digital content is supplied if you have agreed to immediate delivery and have confirmed, at checkout, that you consent to losing the withdrawal right.
Rocktier delivers software immediately after payment, and our checkout asks you to agree to immediate delivery and to waive the 14-day withdrawal right before you complete the purchase. By completing your purchase you confirm that consent, so the withdrawal right ends once your license key is delivered.
Where a statutory withdrawal right applies and has not been validly waived at checkout, we honour it in full.
The 7-day money-back window in section 2 applies to everyone, in every country, including the EU and the UK. It does not replace or reduce any statutory right: where the law gives you more, you get more.
4. If the software does not work
If a product you bought is defective or fails to run as described, for example a license key is rejected or the app will not start on a supported system, contact us and we will sort it out: usually by issuing a corrected license, and if we cannot fix the issue, by refunding your purchase.
5. How to request help
Email hello@rocktier.com with your order reference and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
6. What a refund does to your activation code
Each purchase comes with an activation code that unlocks the app. Where a purchase is refunded or reversed, including a chargeback, that code is deactivated, so it can no longer be used to activate the app; once any trial period has ended, the app returns to its unlicensed state and stops saving and exporting. The same is stated in section 5 of our Terms of Service.
Refunds are handled by our merchant of record, or by PayPal depending on how you paid. If you believe a working code was deactivated in error, email hello@rocktier.com with your order reference and we will put it right.
