One agreement for the whole family.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using any Rocktier app, or by visiting rocktier.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the apps or the site. These terms apply to every app in the Rocktier family, now and in the future.

2. License and permitted use

Each Rocktier app is licensed to you as an individual: a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on your own devices. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the apps, except as permitted by law.

An activation key grants one person the right to use the product (or the whole family, for a Family License). A key may be activated on your own devices; sharing a key with others to run the app is a breach of these terms.

A licence is perpetual: one payment covers the app you bought, including all future updates, for as long as we exist - there is no subscription and no upgrade fee. A single key can be activated on up to three devices. The Family Licence covers every Rocktier app available today and any app we release later, at no extra cost.

3. Intellectual property

Rocktier apps, their code, design, names, and logos are owned by Rocktier. Files you create or process with our apps remain yours, always. We make no claim over your documents, images, or drawings.

4. Free trial

Some direct-download builds include a free trial of 7 days from first launch. During the trial the app works in full. After it ends, the app asks you to buy a licence before it will continue. Trial availability varies by product; see each product's page.

Apps purchased through the Microsoft Store follow the store's own trial and purchase rules.

5. Purchases and payments

Purchases on rocktier.com are one-time licences: you pay once and keep the app. Payment processing is handled by our payment providers, who act as merchant of record for the transaction. When you pay, you are also bound by the terms and privacy policy of the provider you chose for that payment.

Every purchase includes a 7-day money-back window: if the app is not for you, write to us within 7 days of purchase and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. This comes on top of statutory rights. Where a cooling-off right applies, for example for consumers in the EU and the UK, and it has not been validly waived with your prior consent at checkout, we honour it in full.

Where a purchase is refunded or reversed, including a chargeback, the activation code for that purchase stops working, and once any trial period has ended the app returns to its unlicensed state. If you believe a code was disabled in error, write to hello@rocktier.com with your order number and we will put it right. Our full refund policy has the detail.

Prices are quoted in US dollars. Your bank or card provider may add currency-conversion fees.

6. Third-party services

A few things in the Rocktier ecosystem are run by other companies, each under its own terms: payment processing, app distribution (Microsoft Store, Apple App Store), and website hosting (Vercel). We are not responsible for those services. Our apps themselves contain no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The apps and website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make the tools reliable, but we cannot guarantee they are error-free or that they meet your specific needs. Always keep backups of important files.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocktier shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the apps or the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the apps or site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
