Features

Signing, done properly.

01

PKCS#7 signatures

Sign documents with standard PKCS#7 digital signatures, and verify signatures on anything you receive.

02

Certificates, made and managed

Generate your own certificates and keep the ones you already have organised in one place, ready to use.

03

The key stays in your keychain

On macOS the private key is kept in the Keychain; on Windows it is protected with DPAPI. It is never written next to your documents and never sent anywhere.

04

A verdict in three states

Verification returns one of three honest results: the signature is valid, the issuer is not trusted, or the signature is invalid. No maybes.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What kind of signatures does it make?

PKCS#7 digital signatures, the standard format used by document-signing tools.

Where is my private key kept?

In your operating system's protected storage: the macOS Keychain, or DPAPI on Windows. It is not stored beside your documents and it is not sent anywhere.

What does verification tell me?

One of three results: the document is validly signed, the signature is intact but the issuer is not trusted, or the signature is invalid.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Signing, verifying and certificate management all run offline, on your machine.
