Features

One day at a time, kept under lock.

01

Encrypted before it hits the disk

Every entry is sealed with AES-256-GCM, and the key is derived from your passphrase with PBKDF2. What sits on your disk is ciphertext, nothing more.

02

One page a day, with mood

A single entry per day keeps the habit honest. Tag each day with your mood and watch the pattern surface over weeks and months.

03

A calendar that fills in

A density heatmap marks the days you wrote, and the timeline walks you back through old entries one day at a time.

04

Searchable, and easy to back up

Full-text search finds the day you half remember, and backup export produces an encrypted ZIP you can store anywhere you like.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Where does my diary live?

In the app's data folder on your own machine, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. There is no cloud copy and no sync.

What protects my entries?

AES-256-GCM encryption, with a key derived from your passphrase through PBKDF2. Without the passphrase, the entries on disk are unreadable.

Can I back up my diary?

Yes. Backup export produces an encrypted ZIP archive you can copy to an external drive or anywhere else you keep backups.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Writing, search and export all run offline, on your machine.
